of course, i have never even heard of micronet, but hey... the product looks perfect!

I ordered the 160GB model this afternoon. I've never heard of the company until today but I read around and saw Macworld favorably reviewed some of their products and read off their website about them having a Strategic Relationships with Apple. So I figure what the heck and it comes with a 1 year warranty! This product might be what your looking for as well!

Micronet has been around for years! I have an old Macintosh Performa 405 which is a 16mhz pre-PowerMac that Micronet had done a (500mg) hard drive and (33mhz) processor upgrade on. The date on the bottom of this old Mac is 1992! You can see this Mac at EveryMac

I would love to have one of these. Problem is, I can't find anywhere on their site that tells me if its drive is bootable. I realize that It has to be Firewire to boot but, I have a Firewire inclosure from Compusa that is not bootable. It depends on what bridge chip set it has. I could find no information on their site. Anyone here know?
