MY discion to look up a imac "g5" comes after i discovered i can't gather enough funds for a intel imac and after the gma 950 poisoned the mac world. _________________ “If you want something done properly, kill Baldrick before you start” –Edmund Blackadder |

If you are planning on doing a lot of gaming (WoW and UT2004 as you mention), The G5 iMac will certainly perform better than either of the Mac Mini models (G4 and Intel).
The GMA950 actually performs quite well compated to the 9200...however, neither are as good as a G5 iMac for 3D gaming performance. _________________ -=iMav=-

I have a PowerMac G5 dual 1.8, 1.5 GB RAM with a 6800 ultra DDL
In WoW @ 1600x900 all details maxed except draw distance and the antisropic (sp) filtering I get anywhere from 30-45 FPS. Very playable
But still no match for a P4 with a slightly slower video card………
P4 3.0 1GB RAM and a 6800 GT @ 58-60 FPS same resolution and same detail settings.
If you want a cheap “good” game machine PC’s are really they way to go as Mac’s just cannot compare when price/performance is an important consideration for a “game” rig.
