Mac mini inside a Super NES
Wednesday March 1, 2006

The Mac Mini NES is one of the coolest looking mods we have seen in a while. "Well, someone had to do it! The Mac Mini NES was an idea born out necessity, and a love of the hardware modification arts. Necessity because I owned an internal DVD writer for my previous PC and, with the switch to an Apple PC, I was left to use an IDE to USB adapter (enclosures are expensive). This was to much of a ghetto looking setup for my taste. Most of all, the two tone 8-bit console has appealing style and is a famous icon of console gaming (not to mention, ideal dimensions for a desktop system.)," writes Brent. We'd like to thank Brent and his friend for sharing this sweet mod.

or Lego Mac Mini

or a Toothpick Mac mini

or a old Aiwa Stereo System Mac Mini (God knows how many dead ones there are lying around the world)

Did nobody think of putting the mini-motherboard in a Cube? Should be a cheaper upgrade of a Cube than what I heard is normal. 3'5 10.000 rpm hd in it, a Pioneer burner, probably runs to hot, but it might be a nice upgrade for both the systems which also LOOKS COOL! (Which I cannot say from al the mods of mini's in dull beige boxes until sofar) Embarassed
