do u guys hav any idea of the performance of the intel integrated graphics chip in the new mini?
if the its not better than the old minis graphics performance ill be pissed off.
i hav read one test and it was pretty crap but it did play doom3 reasonably well but that was in a crappy PC so i dont know how good itll be in the mini. _________________ Core Solo MacMini owner.

I haven't done any investigation, but yeah, I hear it sucks.
HOwever, it does have support for 2GB pf ram, and a core duo would be far better than a single G4 at a lower clock speed. _________________ 1.5 GhZ G4 Mac Mini, 1GB RAM, Radeon 9200 w/ 64 MB of VRAM, Bluetooth, Airport, Super drive, 80 GB HDD, OS 10.4.3 |

At worst, it should be marginally better with 3d performance and quite a bit better with 2d. _________________ -=iMav=-

Ya. The mac mini is not really a gaming maching but we are still able to play some games on the G4 minis, so that means the intel minis will be at least the same most likely better. The graphics were kinda a let down but that faster cpu and 2 gig of ram would make gaming run better then the G4. |

Games that run pretty well on my new Mac mini Core Duo / 2 GB RAM:
Universal Binaries:
Bugdom 2
Nanosaur 2
Enigmo 2
Big Bang Board Games
Rosetta:
Worms 3D
ScummVM (all the classic LucasArts adventure games plus many more)
I tested the games with the following settings on my Samsung HDTV:
1.280 x 720, 32 Bit color, no FSAA (except Worms 3D with 2 x FSAA).
I'll keep on trying more games. Bring on the Star Wars: KOTOR unibin!
