Or we could remove the top of the case, remove the CD-DVD ETC, on the Mac mini and put in a small screen.
Just a thought.
Look to the right of the table...
I will use this picture in the next posting and say nothing and wonder if anyone notices.LOL.

BUT why are there no FireWire ports?
And WHY are there no ports on the front?
This could be useful with some rethinking/reworking and with the addition of FireWire ports. |
Probably why they had to lower the price! Maybe next time they should do some market research because you're right on the mark with your comments. No front port access + no Firewire = tuff sale! |

Curt,
HaHaHa I avoided that, because I do not want to make political waves. Its only an idea. I am worried however that Apple may see the Mac mini as an interim cash cow, we need it to be successful in the Mac culture in promoting the Mac mini, there is much more riding on the Mac mini's success than is obvious. Also I have my suspicions already there is some "iVery" radical item in the wings, but I dont want to see The pow-wers to be neglect the low end market place for the high priced end just to retain a tenuous high end Powerbook. The shrinking Mac is not the only small form idevice around.
The Mac mini is capable of taking on the PC market !8ut they may need some other inticements. The lack of a 17" LCD screen like the 20" and 23" is a mistake in my humble opinion.
Today I posted an interseting product which could go well for the Mini.
<http://dbatrium.blogspot.com/2005/04/peripherals-mac-mini-item-1.html>Mini Ture_MacJournal.
If Apple were to look at a 17" LCD solution and a 7" LCD solution at the right price and perhaps a built in 6" lid situation they would sell heaps more Mac mini's and really grab a lot of switchers in every walk of life.
Regards
