I was wondering who one would get amovie off a dvd to an ipod video

i use the program handbrake and it works great.

one thing it doesnt mention is that it takes about 15 mins from when the program shows that movies are 100% ripped to when its actually says done. _________________ 1.42/1 gig ram/80gig hd, 5g ipod |

I use handbrake as well, but have run into a few movies that iTunes refused to push to my iPod.
I worked around it by first ripping with MactheRipper, then re-encoding with Handbrake.
A nice write-up was done here that got me on the right track. |

HandBrake Lite is the only thing you'll need.

Also, iSquint does an excellent job with most other video files.
