Hi there, I was just wondering if anyone coould provide some info on what network drives they use. The only ones that I've found so far that are in my range are the Maxtor "Shared Storage Plus" drives.

II am just interested in seeing what brands are out there, what people use, and how they like it.

I don't personally own one, but the LaCie Ethernet Disk mini seems to get pretty good reviews. What price range are you looking in?

Around the $350 range. Those LaCie drives look appealing.

The LaCie drives look pretty nice. I've had my eye on the Storage Central from Netgear. I saw one at Staples a few weeks ago. It looks like a nice solution, even though some of the reviews have been mixed. The problem is, they don't offer OS X or Linux drivers yet. I've been checking with their site every once in a while to see if they've added the drivers because those two empty bays look real appealing. You could get some serious storage space going there. I'm really into ripping movies and music so I need all the storage I can get. Right now, I'm using the miniStack with a 250GB drive. It's about full with movies I've ripped with MTR and HandBrake. I'm thinking about buying another one, but I'd like to see if Apple changes the size of the new mini first.
