Best Buy in-store Mini displays
"I took a quick jaunt down to our local Best Buy today to pick up a tripod and check out if they had the Mac mini’s on display yet."

Sales staff has never been a strength of Best Buy (nor Circuit City, nor Radio Shack ("you've got questions? We've got blank stares."), etc) _________________ -=iMav=-

No mini's at my local store. I almost asked someone, but resisted the urge _________________ Mac mini powered up on 2-11-2005 |

Can anyone tell me what brand of Monitor that is, and how much does it cost?
Here in Australia we dont have that store but I am curious to see if one of our big stores sell the Mac mini so many sell the iPod.

| I went to the best buy website and it looks like either the Westinghouse LCM-17v2 SL or MAG LT782s. |

Nah, there's nothing better than a Samsung SyncMaster 910T (silver), VGA, DVI, matches the mini color. _________________ Mac mini powered up on 2-11-2005 |

Agree! Samsung makes some fine LCD's. The 21" 213T-Silver is plain out beautiful. |

Thanks Devo, thanks everyone,

We can get samsung but I have not seen westinghouse monitors here perhaps it is something else badged differently.
Thanks all anyway it looked good to me.
Hey all, I was reading the supposed spec for the new eMac and it says emacs will get an upgrade to their 32MB ATI Radeon 9200 video card upgraded to a 64MB ATI Radeon 9600 card to take full advantage of the new Tiger Core image graphics.
My question is what happens with tiger and the Mac mini at only 32 MB?
Does this indicate a change in the screen types of the eMac?
Regards

Hi Blazer,
I ordered a second Mac mini for my home theatre set up, which will not arrive for 4 weeks so it will have tiger on it. You know I dont care about core this or that, I may put it on my G5 and the first Mac mini and the iBook with panther for a while.
I am sure someone will come up with an upgrade plan.
Any way at the moment I would wait for at least 3 months till they get out all the bugs in tiger.
Regards

I'd take a strong look at Samsung if you're in the martket for an LCD. |
