The Mac mini suits an iHome.
"The academic argument for houses that are designed and discreetly networked is readily available on thousands of web sites and in the halls of academic opinion, but what exactly are we talking about. Well we are looking at the current surge in embedded appliance technology since 1999 which has change the way in which many think about their daily life patterns."

Hi Charles,
I think drawing the iHome together with Mac mini will benefit not just the Mac fraternity but home appliance users in general. There are these two great industries and little connection between them and that will change.
I see a more invasive penetration of the iHome market by the Mac mini than some realize simply because the Mac mini market has a stealth component. So many young people will be led by the iPod genre and choose the companion Mac mini. I think this is the real sharp end of the switcher market. It may take several years and some changes in the small form iAppliance Mac's but it will happen.
