I literally can't use an Apple USB keyboard, it wakes up my RSI again... I've got two, and I only ever use them for hitting CMD+S if I want to boot single-user because the USB/PS2 adapter I have for my good keyboard has one bridge too many for the Mac's taste. |
I was strictly speaking from an aesthetic point of view. The thing is pretty ugly when you sit it next to modern day Macs and LCDs on the market. |

Apple's concentration on style to the exclusion of everything else is nothing to cheer about.
I need to get another Performa 475 case and put a Mac mini's guts in *that*. |

I'm not familiar with that model. Is it a full-size or mini keyboard? I tried to Google it, but only came up with a post of yours on MacNN. I like some of those Adesso keyboards with the built-in touchpads. I've always wanted a Matias Tactile Pro Keyboard, but they are so darn expensive. |

| It's an 84-key mini keyboard with full sized keys. The key action is very crisp and responsive, with solid tactile feedback on contact. It has no "Fn" key, or simulated keypad, so I wouldn't want to use it with a VMS system, but for most purposes the keypad is a waste of space. The cursor keys are full sized in an inverted T, with HOME, PgUp, PgDn, and END above the right arrow... a much more logical arrangement than full sized keyboards. |

I like when they are up the right side like that. |
