heey guys, well I haven't ordered my mini yett butt I am really close to doing so! well I was looking at aall the connections on the mac minia nd noticed a DVI connection, my 60" HDTV supports a DVI connection, its fairly new, and i thought it be really cool to use that as a monitor since I already have my wirless mice and keyboard. buttttttt, my cable on my HDTV looks like this
nd the mac mii one looks like this
now thats damm closee so I dont know what to do, do you think all need to buy a conversion to fit the mac mini or will i be able to use the cable I already have? anyways thanks for your help in advance! |

Yes the cables you have will work from the Mini to the TV.
All DVI cables have pins at a slant and the horizontal pin will fit right in the cross pin connector in the Mini.
You may need some software on the other hand to get the Mini to display @ your TV's resolution. I believe its DisplayConfigX, you can look into the HTPC part on some examples of how it works. _________________
