I play WoW on my mini as well. The mini is quite adequate for the game. _________________ -=iMav=-

You guys should set-up a 123mini game. It would be fun for people on this site to get to know one another, by blowing each other up.
I don't play games. Sorry. |

So you guys seriously haven't had any problems running WoW on your mini's? What settings are you able to run the game at without hitting any graphics lag?

I'm finding that running at 800 by 600 screen size with details down is fine,
turn of the music (as thats a memory hogger).
iron forge is quite jumpy but so far its the only part that has a slow down.
note its just as slow on my pc. xp2400 +rad 9800 xt in that area
its just so nice to play on something that doesnt sound like a jet engine with all the fans running on it.
its quite fun trying to find other mac players on the servers
if ya want to join me on my quest add me
im in the "skullcrusher" server under the name of Buduk
level 28 warlock
see ya in there

PLAY WARCRAFT 3: Frozen Throne instead of World of Warcraft, it's a different type of game, but i like it a little more, plus ull save yourself, hmm 9 bucks a month x 12= $108 for a year. _________________ Gone. |

I purchased my mini about a month and a half ago (seems like yesterday) and I want to get WoW soon. Specs are in my sig, but I may get a ram upgrade to 1GB from 512. Will it run well? I have the radeon 9200 with 64MB of ram btw _________________ 1.5 GhZ G4 Mac Mini, 1GB RAM, Radeon 9200 w/ 64 MB of VRAM, Bluetooth, Airport, Super drive, 80 GB HDD, OS 10.4.3 |

| My daughter has given me a copy of WoW but I'm too tight to pay to play it... is there a free way to play it on my Mini? |

You can find free servers, but they are infested with Cheaters, they also lag...
Or you coould just give it to me >_> _________________ 1.5 GhZ G4 Mac Mini, 1GB RAM, Radeon 9200 w/ 64 MB of VRAM, Bluetooth, Airport, Super drive, 80 GB HDD, OS 10.4.3 |
