Thanks for the new thread.
I actually am on my way out the door, but will be asking you some questions later this evening. (I've always been fascinated with those with the creative ability to write numerous books)
Here's a question for you. How did you get your start as a writer? _________________ -=iMav=-

You mentioned on the other thread that your book was available on Amazon...could you give us a link?
And is your last name Amis? Sorry, just couldn't resist
Seriously, thanks for doing this...it'll be interesting! I'll come up with better questions later, I promise.

I was in a band, back in 89/90. We had great potential and could have got somewhere, I firmly believe that. But the others wouldn't pull their weight and I left. Afterwards they had a Single of the Week in the NME, and for a while there I felt like Pete Best (the guy who left the Beatles just before they hit the big time). But they didn't do the work to follow this up, and it all fell apart not long after.
Meanwhile, I decided to have a go at writing as I was only to blame for it's success or failure. I wasn't reliant on anyone else turning up, or at least turning up sober. And I'm a persistent sod, so here I am. |
