I think it would be great for Apple to follow suit of the nano and video and offer us something in black. It would be nice to have a choice, I'd love to have a glossy black iBook.
As for the G3 AIO, I just don't see what you guys like in that thing! UGLY! _________________ Mini 1.83 C2D 2GB/80GB/Combo, 10.5

| Yeah, your right, it's ugly, but that's what makes it so cute. Oh, and did I mention that the 15 inch display is so clear and bright? |

lol, I've never been a fan of the all-in-one design, except for the last 2 iMacs.
Maybe ugly was harsh.... I can settle for homely... _________________ Mini 1.83 C2D 2GB/80GB/Combo, 10.5

Well I'm not sure if it's proper or not, but the way I have been doing it for years is to take two long screw drivers, stick one under the rubber second anode boot on the side if the picture tube, then take the other one and cross the first one to chassis ground. If the tube is charged you will see a small arc. It goes without saying that this should only be done with the monitor unplugged. It is pretty safe in there after discharging the tube. |

Thanks for the reply. I don't want to get shocked and die!!!! I still would like to see some pictures of how to do it if anyone has them.
My friend has an old Mac SE. I'm thinking about trading him something for it. I would like to do a mod like this and replace the screen with a touchscreen. |

So, would it be safe to say that you dislike CRT AIO's, but you really like LCD AIO's? _________________ -=iMav=-
