Hey guys,
As you can see I am new to this forum. I just purchased a Mac Mini refurb from the Apple store online. The specs are in my signature. I also just ordered 2 gigs of RAM from OWC for my mini. I will using it for photo editing. Do you guys think lightroom, aperture, or photoshop will run on this unit as is with 2 gigs of RAM? I was looking at upgrading to a faster HDD but didn't know how the boot up process would go after you installed it. I'm guessing just boot from the Leopard install disk? I have knowledge of computers but not with booting from a new HDD. If it matters also this will be hooked up to my 37" lcd tv and only used for photo editing, watching movies, listening to music. Thanks in advance for any help and pardon the new in me.

-Chad

You should have very little problems running any of those. The only bottle necking will likely be the hard drive 5400rpm speeds, but that can always be upgraded and replaced as well.

Ye if you upgrade the HDD you just boot from the Leopard disk. That mini will be fine for photo editing and listening to music.
