So I bought this nice V2 to use both with my Mac and Win partition in a lovely Mini. Knowing the V2 is supposed to be a Mac/Win hybrid device, I just kept it pre-formatted as it came, and loaded with contents from my Mac side.

Then I got to Win, and can't see the disk itself. Guess is formatted HFS after all, but I really miss the point... how can be said to work also with Windows then?

Ok, should I re-format the whole thing?

Can I do that (I mean, re-formatting the whole 740Gig volume in FAT32) from MacOS disk utility?

Let me know please!

THanks in advance!

Because you can reformat it to work with a Windows machine. (i.e. FAT32 or NTFS)

Yes you should.

Yes you can, however, there will be limitations in file size with OS X. (I believe it's 4Gb, meaning you can't read/write files bigger than that in OS X, in Windows you have no problem)
