Well my 1.83 GHz C2D Mac Mini will be here in less than 2 weeks...so far I bought 4 GB of RAM (2X 2GB for $79.00), a Logitech MX Revolution ( for $50) and now I am looking for a new keyboard, as my Logitech Cordless Keyboard is PS/2 only.

I think I narrowed my search down to the new Apple Wired Keyboard (like the numberpad) or the Moshi Celesta (a little expensive, but uses laptop keys). Anybody have opinions about these or others to consider?

That Moshi KB looks real nice, but at almost twice the price of the new Mac wired version, what does it offer?

One thing is for certain, there is a very large number of negative customer reviews for the new version of the Wireless KB at Apple's own site.

The Moshi uses the same keys and style as the IBM ThinkPad keyboards, something I have been typing on for years.

it also has a tilt system (full length kickstand?)to align the keyboard with either the edge of a desk or flat.

The 2 USB ports supposedly have enough juice to charge an iPod.

The price is expensive though...

I really wanted a wireless keyboard, but after seeing the reviews of the Apple version and the fact it has no number pad forced me to look at the wired version.

I very much like the older style Apple wireless KB, but in fact I have had terrible luck with them. I have had two go bad on me (and don't know if anyone repairs them), so I am using my third in as many years.

The new, wired KB took some getting used to in order for me to use it with the facility of the older wireless (which is still in use on the new Mini) the different placement of some keys is still a hindrance when I switch from this iMac back to the Mini.

I have the new wireless Apple Keyboard and I really like it. Sometimes I miss the number pad, but not that often. It just works, looks good, and matches the Mini.

For years I have used a wireless mouse and keyboard.

When I bought my second mini, last September, I fell in love with the then new Apple aluminium keyboard (wired) and bought one.

I wouldn't change it for the world. By far, it's the best keyboard I've ever used.

Agreed! If the new Bluetooth KB were exactly like this one, I would buy TWO immediately. I really do enjoy being wireless.

I think the Apple wireless keyboard looks nice, but it's almost too small...and reading the reviews, it's either a total love or hate for the keyboard.

The wired full size is better, but the fact the 2 USB ports can't power an iPod(or even a USB stick) is annoying.

Price wise I can get the wired for a bit cheaper than retail (like 4 bucks off) but I found a Moshi for about 30% off MSRP. It's still WAY more than a wired one though.

I think I am buying the Moshi...I went to Future Schlock here and typed on a Wired keyboard...I felt like I was raising my wrists to type.

My gut is telling me "buy the Moshi", my head is telling me "save your money"

Why do these manufacturers keep making keyboards that tilt towards the user? Do these people enjoy having sore wrists?
