Does anybody know wether Apple is going to give those of us that just bought a Mini any king of deal on Tiger when it comes out? I hope so.

That's the 10 million dollar question! I'm not holding my breath. I mean for a 500 dollar computer 130 dollars for Tiger two months later is steep. Did you get coupons with your Mac mini in the little sliver box?

Yes I did, but being a new Mac owner I was not sure what they are good for. If they allow me to get Tiger at a discount then I will be happy. So I guess its wait and see.

I'd keep them handy but more than likely they will be useless. Apple probably won't do anything unless you ordered your mini within 2 weeks of Tiger's release. Amazon has a $35 rebate on pre-orders but I'm just going to sit back and wait to see what happens. Glad to hear you're a new Mac user!

Well, I guess that pretty much spells it out. I guess I willl just have to buy another mini for my wife and use her Tiger to upgrade mine, hows that for logic.  |

Hey that is a great Idea! My wife's birthday is coming up and I know  She would love a Mac Mini computer of her very own. Just like when my dad bought my mom a shotgun for their annaversary! She loved it!!  LOL |

| By the way! I think that the title of this OSX Panther Thread should be changed to OS X 10.X! To included any flavor of OS X that might come along! |
