Ok I am setting up a server for file streaming through iTunes for a friend of mine.

What i am dealing with is this.

IMac intel core 2 duo 2.00 ghz
4 gig's of ram
1Tb Hard drive

Currently running 10.4 Server.

Now this machine is not for anything but streaming files and files only no need for safari.

But i was wondering should i upgrade him to snow leopard server and purchase him a external hard drive to backup to.

Or does it really make a difference and should i just leave it on tiger for file sharing???

will it work with current versions of iTunes??
