I actually saw the Intel commercial on TV today during the Colt vs. Steelers game. Does that mean the world is coming to an end? |

Not with a whimper but a bang?
Or maybe we should just say that the PowerPC chip is now the Peyton Manning of the computer world. Sorry--couldn't resist.
Love that commercial, and it was great to see it on actual TV. And although Intel can't act very happy publicly (so as to not antagonize the other paying customers) I'm sure that secretly they are happy for the image boost.
The whole "Intel didn't know about the commercial and was very upset" story was a bunch of PR department-created spin BS.

I saw one during the Golden Globe Awards. I saw the commercial during the keynote, but this was the first time on TV. _________________ 2.4GHz MacBook Pro/4GB/320GB HD

I would love to see them run the Intel advertisement during the game. But, I think Apple wants to preserve the significance of the 1984 advertisement as their SuperBowl moment. I am impressed with how often it's running on TV in general. I've probably seen it 10-15 times now. |
