Hi all, I have a MacMini intel 2007 that no longer boots.

When I turn it on I can hear fans and the led light turns on, but no startup sound and nothing on the screen.

I have tried resetting NVRAM but no luck.

Any suggestion?

+ I am using a bluetooth keyboard and I am never totally sure if it's correctly available during boot steps or not...

yes, no luck.

I remember years ago when this happened was just a matter of resetting the NVRAM, but it's not working this time...

So you did this?

If none of the above steps resolved the situation, reset the PMU. To reset the PMU on a Mac mini:

Unplug all cables from the computer, including the power cord.
Wait 10 seconds.
Plug in the power cord while simultaneously pressing and holding the power button on the back of the computer.
Let go of the power button.
Press the power button once more to start up your Mac mini.

Ok simple thing i have to ask you...

core duo or core 2 duo the reason i have to ask is the core 2 duo 2007 mini's had the same graphics card as the aluminum macbook pro's of the time and the graphics card was known for major flaws and problems so bad apple for a while did a free replacement of the mainboard because the flaw was not in the board itself but the graphics chipset.

Bad news they are no longer replacing the boards for free.

even worse the symptoms for this issue are.

1. you get power no dong but the fans are running

this means Mainboard dead.

so i hope you get it back if not you might be in trouble
