Do you hear any sound when you play? What resolution are the trailers? And they are from the iTunes Store? Have you tried to play them in iTunes?

Have you tried playing them in VLC? Unless something has changed, I don't beleive the trailers have any encryption.

Are these new trailers or are they trailers you've had? Does the slider move when you press play in iTunes or QT?

I do !!!

Itunes changed there DRM protection so you cannot download movie trailers from them anymore all you get is a file thats blank.

this is why you have a blank black screen!!!

Now if you want to download movie trailers just go to google and search youtube to mp4 and find the youtube to mp4 site and pluging in the trailers web address from youtube and you have your trailer
