Hi, Is this possible that people can send out emails that are set to self-destruction (self-erase) after recipients read them (or set a timeline)? The reason I ask this is some days ago I received and read an email message and saved (transferred) it to a specific mailbox. Then I couldn't find it any more next day. I checked every other mailbox and none found! Kind of weird and spooky, especially it's a sensitive message (but not harmful or value-loss stuff though). Any idea?

I don't think so, but I'm not entirely familiar with all of the email protocols.

Nope but if the message was embedded with a graphic the graphic can be eliminated from the host and it would be a blank message. Chances are you moved the message and it didn't finish moving. Are you using POP or IMAP?

Y-Guy, I am using IMAP and Mail. I have set up several Mailboxes under my primary mailbox and when I move messages to specific mailbox, I just click-hold-drag to the mailbox I want. I am quite sure I did finish moving that particular mail. If it was not finished, it would still remain in the inbox, which would not be deleted unless I choose to. There is possibility that I could move the mail to other mailbox not carefully. But I checked all other mailboxes and none found.

Nonetheless, I am interested in eliminating graphics (by the sender) which are attached in email. Can you enlighten the way to implement? Thanks.
