I have a mac mini 2011 with 8GiG Ram which has been working well but lately on mac it has been crashing a lot. I have as well windows 7 installed via bootcamp.

Is there a way to format and reinstall lion back from scratch ?

I want as well to install windows 8 instead of 7...how does it run on the mini ?

Finally is Parallel`s desktop better to use than bootcamp ?

Thanks

what I have read you don't want to install windows 8 on a Mac, too many problems. I have windows 7 with bootcamp..works like a charm..

With bootcamp your booting straight into windows, but with parallels your running Mac OS X and Windows at the same time so its going to be using more resources going the Parallels route, but then you have access to applications from both systems simultaneously.
