For several reasons, I want to go back to Snow Leopard, so I re-installed the SL system on my internal drive. Then I attempted to use Migration Assistant to import my User Files from the Mountain Lion hard disk. Migration Assistant would not allow it, nor would SuperDuper. Any other way I can import my User Files besides manually copying everything?

Nope sorry!!!

once you updated to mountain lion it changes the files to work with mountain lion only as for snow leopard i would think twice before going back remember non of the ilife apps work on snow leopard from the app store so your app store purchases are worthless
