I think when I see Peter Jackson involved in anything, I'll pass from here on out.

Saw Hitchcock this weekend. Quite enjoyable, as I anticipated with Hopkins and Mirren.

I liked it as well. A much better Hitchcock movie than the one HBO produced a couple months back.

I watched Silver Linings Playbook last night. My wife said it wasn't as good as the book, but I thought it was really good. It's funny and pulls at your heart. Another good movie is Promised Land with Matt Damon. Not as good as Silver Linings Playbook, but it's definitely worth a rental.

Pain & Gain was the last movie I saw. It was funny and then suddenly got serious!

Can't wait for Star Trek next week!

+1. JJ did a good job with the first one, so I'm pretty excited.

The croods 3d movie, it is incredible. And I was surprising about design and the vibrant colours.

The Bicycle Thief (aka Bicycle Thieves) from 1948. Most heart-breaking movie I've seen in a long time.

Under the impression that Into Darkness was opening on Friday, I was hoping to see it Thursday night midnight screening. Oddly it opened on Thursday...

So, what could go wrong?
Cumberbatch as a villian? That's pure gold right there!
Rip roaring adventure in the TOS style? Plenty of Adventure!
Cute blond in her undergarments? Yep!
Peter Weller showing how it's done? He's all over it!
Gaping plot holes like the 2009 movie? Nope. I found the plot to be pretty tight. Not Nolan tight, but not as bad as the last Trek movie.
Annoying lens flares? Sadly, still there...

I'd say more, I don't think there is a spoilers tag here.

Django was awesome.

Can't wait to see it SC. I was going to go this weekend, but came down with the flu on Friday. I'm thinking next weekend now.

BTW: Just saw the trailer for After Earth. Looks kinda cool.

Don't expect more than a great ride, and you'll have a good time.

I liked it. It wasn't great, but it a solid second movie with the new cast.

Maybe the odd numbers will be great this time around. Smile

I also had a chance to watch Moonrise Kingdom on HBO. It was pretty good. Then again, I'm a sucker for Wes Anderson's movies.

The Internship. It's hilarious! The funniest comedy I have seen in quite some time. Much funnier than The Hangover 3 that's for sure.
