| This is probably more a question about OS X than the Mac mini, but is screen rotation allowed through the HDMI port? I'm about to buy a new Mac mini and switch over from Windows. I like to rotate my 24" screen, which runs at 1920x1200, from time to time for Word and Excel. Will this be possible? And where exactly is that feature found? |

Yes! At minimum, it would be done through the Display control panel. But perhaps there is a script out there that can make it less tedious.

| Thanks! I just wanted to make sure that it could be done. So, is there a way you can put that option in the top menu bar or something? You also mentioned looking around for a script. How do you typically run those scripts? Is it just like a shortcut on your desktop? |

There are several programs out there. Just google "mac screen rotate". I used to use one of them on my MBA.
