Mac: 2.16 GHz Mac mini (2006)
TV: Vizio E601i-A3
Screen size: 60 inches
Purchased at: Costco
Price paid: $890 + Square Trade $59 + tax
Connected to Mac with: VGA
Other connections tested:
Adapter in use: Apple DVI to VGA adapter
Screen resolution: 1920 x 1080
Overscan issues: None
Underscan issues: When using the 60Hz option the screen is slightly compressed. Using the 59.98Hz option the screen is fine.
Custom resolution software in use: None
Custom resolution settings: None
Special TV adjustments and/or settings: Might be able to adjust the screen width from the teevee input options when using 60 Hz setting.
Audio connection: Audio is going to the AVR and not to the display
Extra notes: Avoid serial numbers below WAN50. Also, I'm waiting on the 2.3 GHz minis to come back to the refurb store. I'll try HDMI to the AVR then.
I will accept questions about this entry via PM: Yes
