Audio Stuck

When using homeshare to play music on my Apple TV from my Mac mini after two or three songs the music stops, and I have to hit fast forward to get it to play again. Then after 2 or three songs I have to use the remote to advance the song again.

Any suggestions on how to hit play and get it to p[lay through???

Check your mac's sleep settings & try upping the computer sleep setting to 1hr + and see if the problem clears.

It also might be worth disabling put hard disks to sleep when possible.


also check out an app called Caffeine, which sits in the menu bar and allows you to temporarily disable sleep.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it is still doing it. When I play from the computer I don't have the problem. When I play from the Apple TV I get 2-3 songs and then I have to fastforward to get another song.

Mine was doing that before the last software update but is fixed now. Are you using the latest version of iTunes?

Everything was updated, I am just playing from the Mac mini instead of playing from the Apple TV. I don't have any problems doing that, it's weird.
