A tale of vengeance in a British borstal. Pretty good as it goes. |
Never heard of that one. I will have to check it out. My latest three have been Dark Shadows, The Expendables 2, and Magic Mike. My wife made me watch the last one, but I kinda ended up liking it. |

Moonrise Kingdom. I think it's one of the best movies that I've seen all year. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

Cockneys vs. Zombies
Story's a bit pony (well, it's a zombie flick) but good for a silk scarf. _________________ iMac 21.5", Unibody MacBook 13"

| I watched Ted last night and laughed my tail off. After that, it was Christmas Vacation. Which is one of my favorites Christmas movies of all time. |

Ted was sorta funny...but I'm not big on movies with a lot of vulgar language.
Expendables 2 was a disappointment. But I should have seen that coming since I didn't like the first one either. _________________ -=iMav=-

Bernie with Jack Black, Shirley MacLaine and Matthew McConaughey. Give it a rental. It's a really good movie that many say slipped through the cracks.

Loopers - B
Total Recall - C
Dredd - C
Bourne Legacy (seen in theater, enjoyed now that I've seen it a few more times) B+
Chernobyl Diaries - D
Men in Black 3 - B- (not great bun held it's own)
The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel - B+
Dark Knight Rises - B
Iron Sky - D, but sort of a cult movie so I'll say C for that
The Core - D _________________ iMac 24" 2.4 GHz 4GB | Logitech S530 | Z-2300 speakers | NewerTech Guardian MAXimus RAID

Jeremy Renner did a good job. I hope it did well enough to continue on.

Yeah, it was just okay. Maybe my expectations were too high after the last one. I thought the Dark Knight was the best Batman movie ever. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

+1. Lawless was really good.
I also really liked Trouble With the Curve and Arbitrage with Richard Gere. _________________ 2011 Mac mini with 8GB of RAM

I agree, it's not the Jason Bourne but it held good on it's own merits. I can see the two existing side by side with an eventual Bourne/Cross set of movies. _________________ iMac 24" 2.4 GHz 4GB | Logitech S530 | Z-2300 speakers | NewerTech Guardian MAXimus RAID

My wife and I went to the theater and saw Lincoln a couple of weeks ago. I'd highly recommend it.
We also watched Trouble With the Curve on iTunes via ATV last week. It was lightweight and predictable, but OK, especially if you're a baseball fan. |
