Does the Color option in your Display preferences properly identify your TV?

It doesn't sound good if you have to compensate by adjusting either the Color settings or your TV settings. Then again, if this is the first time you have used your TV with a computer, it could probably use some optimization from the standard settings.

Yes. I would say there is still a little room for improvement though. Which may come with the 10.8.3 update like you are saying. But mine is pretty darn good man. Especially with adjustments in Displays and on my TV through the picture controls.

It just identifies it has a Sony TV in Displays. Not the specific model.

It's also the first time that it's been used with a computer. But even without the adjustments, I would say that it looks better than before. It's less saturated and more crisp.

Sorry, should have said make or model. Either is better than getting nothing specific as before.
