I have an older mini with a 10.4 system. I just bought a new printer that says 10.6 needed. Is there anything I can do? I will wait to get an answer before I return it.
Thanks |

Here is a thread that might (not your unit but general thoughts) help but I wouldn't bet on getting it to work, if you do you can probably print with the basic features but you'll probably miss out on some features too.

I think in doing some research there are some Canon models that support 10.4
I will just return this HP. Actually I prefer a Canon I will just have to pay a little more. |

I've used Brother printers for some time and been very happy with the support, software and function of their multifunction printers. For the fun of it I looked at their newer MFC-J425W - it has drivers available for 10.4 and all the way to 10.8. You can find a unit on their website and check the downloads to see what is available. _________________ iMac 24" 2.4 GHz 4GB | Logitech S530 | Z-2300 speakers | NewerTech Guardian MAXimus RAID
