Please post what you are using for a keyboard/mouse with your HTPC.
So i thought it was best to move my mini back to the HDTV, sharing a display with my sons POS PC wasn't cutting it.
I was thinking of the Apple trackpad, then ill still need the keyboard
The Apple remote was fine since i like Video_TS folders, Apple doesn't support FrontRow anymore & i dont care for plex
So im back to "Matinee" & decided on this:
Its for Macs & gets the job done. (Its about the size of my Harmony 1000)

That was a option. Its too big for my media stand. Due to the external OD & HD i need something small.
I was wondering if anyone tried the backlit handheld units for windows
I never had any luck with the hotkeys
something like this

I'm using a wireless Logitech S530 keyboard and mouse. It's been long discontinued. Otherwise, I mostly use the Apple remote while I slowly get the Harmony set up.

Thanks Guys,
Its next to my TV so nobody will use the mini but me For burning movies, watching my classic rock concert Video_TS folders and Amazon movie rentals.
The keyboard is working well for what it is, I wish it had a backlight _________________ iMac 3.06ghz 27" 4gb ram C2D 1TB/LaCie d2 1T

I use a Logitech diNovo Edge Mac Edition keyboard. Works great. But discontinued like my S530.

All nice choices. Im getting used to the one i have, it works: keypad is small & takes more pressure then Apples but its working fine along with the keyboard _________________ iMac 3.06ghz 27" 4gb ram C2D 1TB/LaCie d2 1T

I am mostly using the Logitech MX Air Wireless Mouse (together with OS X on screen virtual keyboard) and more rarely (when more than a few key strokes are needed) the Apple Bluetooth Keyboard.
Unfortunately the (expensive) MX Air Mouse is not sold anymore by Logitech, although it can still easily be found on eBay.
It was a great "pointing device" for HTPC usage.

HP Wireless Mini Keyboard (XB387AA).
Right button is right mouse button *and* the mouse.
The tiny mouse works remarkably well.
