It's always nice to see an update that addresses issues, but when is Apple ever going to get around to updating iLife again? They are like over a year behind again.

iLife is a 2011 edition (introduced Oct 20, 2010 ) 09 came before '11.
I would think it's due, but not overdue for an update.

Is there something you want or need iPhoto to do, or are you just wanting an update to try something new?

Personally I'd like it to remain the same for a while. It makes my life easier from a teaching, support, compatibility point of view.

I'm sure that Apple could come up with new and exciting stuff. I would mostly like to see the iLife apps go 64-bit for better performance. I'm in iPhoto a lot and sometimes it feels really bloated. More so than iTunes since it went 64-bit. I would also hope that Apple keeps using Google maps for geotagging. Not only for the speed, but the accuracy.

Likely if we see an update, Maps will handle the geotagging. I can't see Apple working with Google moving forward.

My guess is Maps is going to get waaay better than Google Maps. Apple fans will be fanatical about submitting updates for maps. I've already submitted info to Apple and I never did with Google Maps. I don't even know how to do so with Google Maps. With Apple Maps it was easy.

I think it's about time for iLife and iWork to become native 64-bit suites. I don't know what's taking Apple so long to do so.
