Hi all,
So I am ordering my Mac mini this week and have have a question around am I better getting the dual core I7 2.5 ghz or to go the server model as its quad core?
It will be used mainly for email and photoshop ( large raw files )

I would go with the server model and upgrade the RAM on your own to 8GB for working with PS and RAW files. You'll also get the bonus hard drive for backing up your pictures.
BTW... You might also look at a refurbished iMac in the same price range and boost the RAM as well.
Either way, you'll have a nice Mac. _________________ 2011 Mac mini with 8GB of RAM

I have ended up ordering the Server model, and ive got an ssd and 16 gig of ram on the way as well.

Congrats! You should be more than good to go with 16GB of RAM.
Not to mention having one with a SSD. I have one in my server and it's made a world of difference. It's the best upgrade that I've ever made. Even though it was a tad of a challenge getting one in there. _________________ 2011 Mac mini with 8GB of RAM
