Hi, I have posted this topic at a major ipad forum with not many of response. Guess we have many mac and idevice users here so here goes:
a desktop (not for mobile) stand of charging dock with holding arm and speakers for my new ipad3. Expect following basic feature, function, and quality:
1. strong, stable, cool looking structure/form with ipd3 attached
2. instantly charge and operate when ipad attached
3. holding (attach) arm grasp ipad in easy, secured and safe fashion; it can rotate ipad in all (or multiple) orientation positions and tilt angles freely and steadily, but not loosely
4. speakers simply take over audio output from ipad built-in speakers with no need of setting and no (forced) auto background music play; with volume control; medium to high sound quality (for music)
5. cost: budget-minded, not top liner
6. extra feature (option): app for radio, clock, alarm, weather, etc.
Appreciate all recommendations |

| You have a major issue let me explain you can find hundreds of ipad 3 docks i recommend Ihome for there ipad docks however i haven't seen a stand with built in speakers i have only seen stands that charge only and still require a headphone jack to operate music and video and other sounds from it most of the docks you will find are alarm clock docks but they have issues most have cheap speakers that blow in less then two weeks of ownership |

| Hi, Macman, thanks for the ipad stand show. However, I am more expecting recommendation/review from user's experience. I myself also searched for the accessory I am going to use. There are actually few ipad dock stand with speakers available in market, e.g., SMK-Link PadDock10, Haier American Flex Docking station, Logitech speakers stand, etc. Real users' testimony be the critical factor for decision. (BTW, I agree the electrostand is really sexy, cool, amazing ... but just lack of speakers) |
