I think it's basically a site that ONLY does the "like or comment on photos" bit of Facebook, everything else taken away.

I'm pretty much lost on the social media stuff anymore, I pretty much use facebook more for a messenger since no one uses their Yahoo, MSN or AIM accounts anymore, though if I get on an IRC channel there's almost always a few people on them.

I don't even use Facebook anymore. I think the only Social media network of worth these days is Twitter. Just because how important news and information can spread over the network.

I don't mess with Pinterest all that much, either. However, since the new Pinterest app works in HD for the iPad, I'll probably give it a little more attention. Basically, you post pictures and when people click on that picture, you are given a certain bit of information pertaining to that picture.

For instance:

Let's say you have an awesome recipe for lasagna. You could post a picture of your lasagna. Whenever people click on that picture, they will be taken to a page where you give information about that lasagna and instructions on how to make it.

Hehe well at least you're getting started with it now rather than later. Pinterest has risen to fame quite rapidly, in all honesty. It's quickly become one of the top social networking websites.

I'm not a big Pinterest user either, but I really like their new iPad app. I think it's a lot more engagging than the regular website.

That app was definitely due for an upgrade. I'm so glad there's an HD version of it available now.
