Can anyone suggest reviews comparing performance of the current Minis to other Macs, such as Mac Pros and Mac Book Pros?
thank you,

I think it should be easy enough to look at the specifications of each Mac side-by-side and get a good idea. It truly is an apple-vs-apple comparison (ha ha)...
I've got a 2.5GHz i5 loaded up with 16GB of ram and a hybrid drive. (I've had tons of different minis over the years...from the earliest PPC G4s to even the short-lived Core Solos (which, I still have today...upgraded to a Core2Duo...too bad it will only take 2GB of ram though))
Anyways, my tangental ranting aside, just look at the specs on the web site. _________________ -=iMav=-

iMav;
yeah, easy enough...I will do that, no doubt, but always good to see how Macs perform actually doing certain tasks.
I'm envious of your 16GB Mini rig...sounds like a sweet machine. Anyway, how'd you get 16GB into that Mini?
...officially, supports only 8

mini is an entry level computer. It does NOT compare to a Mac Pro if you use it for work.
Editing motion pictures, music, graphic design (CS6) AutoCAD
8-10 hours a day 5 days a week the mini wont last as long or work as well as a Mac Pro
Then there is that optical drive thing that used to be in minis _________________ iMac 3.06ghz 27" 4gb ram C2D 1TB/LaCie d2 1T
