ok fellas help me out here..Ive done some research prior to this post and have not came across my situation...
So I have a Mac Mini core i5/ssd/8gb ram/Lion osx...what I want to do is have the mac mini asleep and then when im at work wake it up over the network....is this possible and if so can someone point me in the right direction...
(mac mini is connected over wifi in the living room) |

you can and can't let me explain why.
If your work is protected behind a firewall server you might not be able to access a outside source.
Now for sharing look under google for mac screen sharing apps over network they will help you from there. |

now will this help out my situation.....which is...
I want to wake up in the morning put my mac to sleep and when im at work wake up my mac mini via phone on 4glte and watch a movie through plex..(remember my mac mini is on wifi only no ethernet) |

| ahhh now you make more sense wifi only wont work for this it has to be lan and to your phone no it would only work mac to mac |
