Who is your cell phone provider?

I've been with AT&T for the past 4 years. I'm thinking about switching to Sprint though. Simply based on pricing and unlimited data. So who do you guys use and why? I originally went with AT&T because they were the only one with the iPhone. I'm totally sick of them now. I would like to have Verizon, but their plans are just outrageous. I will admit that they have the best network though.

Used to be AT&T 5 years ago, but connections were challenging. T-Mobile for a year, my god the drops. Sprint for some is good, but from what I have heard in CA is localized to larger cities. Verizon has been by far the best all around for me, LA to Central Valley to Napa and all points in between. As you mentioned, you pay for that service.

I have T-Mobile. I can't do business with AT&T anymore, and I despise Verizon so TM was my only real choice.

I wouldn't say I'm happy with them, but I'm not unhappy with them.

I use Virgin Mobile (on Sprint's network) with a cheap LG Android phone now. 1200 minutes with unlimited data and text for $40 a month. I think that represents one hell of a deal. The service is pretty solid around here as well. At least when it comes to voice.

My last provider was AT&T with an iPhone, but I dropped them when my contract was over. I just think that AT&T and Verizon are nickel and dimming everyone to death. And you're getting less and less for more money.

I don't know much about T-Mobile around these parts, but they do offer some compelling prepaid plans. In fact, I've been thinking about getting an unlocked Nexus from Google and using them. I'm just sort of waiting for this phone to die to give me a reason.

I'm on Verizon. Other than super high monthly fees and occasional billing issues, I really can't say anything bad about them. We have good voice and data service just about everywhere. Even in the rural mountains and valleys of Virginia.

T-Mobile monthly unlimited for $50. I'm not willing to get into a contract with any of these guys anymore. They are all a bunch of crooks as far as I'm concerned.

Been with AT&T for about 10 years now, no major complaints. Service at my house sucks but neighbor has the big V and his sucks too. We sit slightly down in a pocket. We have two grandfathered unlimited plans if those go away we'll shop around.

Verizon. No one else around here does as well signal wise. In fact, sometimes friends with other providers have to borrow my phone. They have nothing.

For me it is about coverage. Data and voice plan pricing doesn't mean anything if you can't get a signal.

For me Verizon is good for being able to make a call. Not so good for data connections. Friends in the area (Pittsburgh suburbs) with AT&T seem to have better data but more dead zones where they can't make a call.

AT&T for home with two Android-based phones and Verizon at work with an iPhone. Out of the two providers, I would rather have AT&T. We seem to do much better with data. I mean, voice seems about the same on both networks. At least in the Atlanta area. New York actually seemed to be the other way around. I just wanted to kill AT&T at times.

As a relatively new mobile user with minimal needs, I went with Koodo, which I believe only operates in Canada. No contract, $33/mo and my Samsung Galaxy Ace android phone was virtually free with Boxing Week deals. For my $33/mo, I get 150 free minutes, free calls in Canada and U.S. after 5 pm, 100 text minutes and about 25 mb data per month (I can access the 3G of my network on laptop via phone through bluetooth.). I'm pretty happy with it.

The Galaxy Ace is a low-end Galaxy, with a weaker processor. It's not the fastest phone on the block, but it is certainly good enough for anything I use it for. My biggest problem is difficulty hitting the right keys on the touchscreen keyboard, but that would be a problem for me on any smartphone. I don't know how these kids do it!
