Seeing that my 2007 Mac Mini cannot run Mountain Lion, instead of buying a new Mac, I acquired a 2008 24" iMac (Core 2 Duo 2.8, 2GB ram, Radeon HD2600, etc) for $300 and hope to upgrade to the latest OSX. It now has 10.5.8 on it. Do I REALLY have to upgrade to Snow Leopard, then Lion, then Mountain Lion when it comes out? Isn't there any way to do a clean install of Lion? I don't care if it costs $100 or whatever. Will they do it at the Apple Store?
Thanks! |

I believe you can buy the 10.7 USB dongle at an Apple store. About $60 to $70 I think.

| Thank you ! I'll look into that. Well worth it instead of doing 3 "upgrades." |
