Apple Releases Thunderbolt Software Update 1.2

Apple has released the Thunderbolt Software Update 1.2 via their Software Update Utility and website for direct download. According to the company, this update adds support for the Apple Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter and includes general fixes. The Thunderbolt Software Update 1.2 weighs in at 537KB and requires Mac OS X 10.7.4 or later.

I haven't had any issues, but I wouldn't recommend installing this update. It's causing major boot issues and kernel panics after restarting.

Yeah, avoid this one like the black plague. It's causing all kinds of trouble.

I didn't have any issues, but it looks like Apple pulled this one for good.

I'm always amazed how hit and miss some of these updates through SU can be though. It seems like a bad update should hose everyone.
