|
|
I'm having a strange problem. In the past, I've used custom icons on my flash drives, whether they're DOS or HFS formatted. Recently, I've been trying to paste new images into two of my DOS flash drives, but I keep getting a garbage image that looks like snow/static and a previous image. When I check the image in the Finder using Edit>Show Clipboard, the icon image looks fine.
Has anyone else experienced this? _________________ "Nothing unreal exists." - Spock

Apparently DOS formatted drives don't handle the icon correctly. If you paste a new icon RIGHT AFTER formatting the drive, it works as it should. If you then try to change the icon, it turns it to garbage.
I guess ya learn somthin' new every day! _________________ "Nothing unreal exists." - Spock

That's odd, but that's DOS!
