hi everybody
i am new with mac os and i have a mac mini G4 the hard disk is damaged and i replaced with an other hard drive i dont have the CD for my mac and i dont know how to install the mac os, i have an original cd of mac os X snow leopard version 10.6.3 i get it form friend but i donyt know if it is the right cd or noe i can not boot or install
please can any one help me how to do it?
specs :mac mini 1.42G4/512MB
model number:A1103

Snow Leopard is for Intel Macs only, you need a retail version of either Tiger or Leopard.
Install discs designed for other Apple computers are model specific and will not work for you.
You could contact Apple and probably purchase a copy of the 'original' install disc after suppling them your mini serial number. _________________ DropBox, free cloud storage for all, check it out Here |

The A1103 tops out at 10.5.8 according to Mac Tracker
Original OS Mac OS X 10.3.7 (7T21)
Later OS Mac OS X 10.4 (8A428)
Maximum OS Mac OS X 10.5.8 |
