| Yeah, I want to see the Avengers while it's still in theaters. I'm also looking forward to seeing The Dictator. SBC just makes me laugh my tail off for some reason. If not, I'll just wait until it hits DVD. The new Spiderman looks cool as well. At least better than the cheesy episodes 2 and 3 with Tobey Maguire. |

The Three Stooges. It was ok. If you like stupid humor or liked the original Three Stooges, then you'll probably like the movie. _________________ Mercury TiBook 400MHz, 1GB RAM, 120GB HD, Airport

I thought it was stupid funny too. I'll tell you what's a great movie though. The Grey with Liam Neeson. I was on the edge of my seat for almost the entire movie. It also sounds awesome on BR. |

I turned it off about 3/4 way through and went to bed.
The Grey was okay, but not as good as I thought it would be.
I'm most looking forward to Brave this summer. It looks like one of those special ones out of Pixar. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

RED. I think it's my new go to movie replacing Big Trouble in Little China.
When I saw Avengers, they had the trailer for Expendables 2. I had hoped for better with the first one which really disappointed me. However 2 looks like it will be a blast, so I might go to see it...

Dark Shadows. It had a couple funny scenes, but it's incredibly slow and boring. I would definitely wait until it comes out on DVD.
We saw the trailer for Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter before hand. It looks like it could be really cool. My wife said the book was excellent. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

The Darkest Hour. Really not bad, it wasn't great by any means but I enjoyed it and kept me watching. Plot was predictable and characters were fairly stereotypical, but a few twits and turns to keep it alive. The fact that not all main characters are sacred or 'safe'. Was fun to see a SciFi movie that wasn't a US movie, like District 9 or 28 Days. _________________ iMac 24" 2.4 GHz 4GB | Logitech S530 | Z-2300 speakers | NewerTech Guardian MAXimus RAID

I have been wondering about that one. The ratings aren't great, but Emile Hirsch is one of my favorite young actors. In fact, Into The Wild is probably one of my all time favorite movies. I thought he was really good in Milk and The Emperor's Club too. |

The Dictator Another stupid/funny movie. The gf loved it and laughed the whole way through. I thought it was ok, think I liked Borat better though. _________________ Mercury TiBook 400MHz, 1GB RAM, 120GB HD, Airport

A seriously overrated movie. I mean, the ending was just horrible. |

You should PM me the ending. I'm curious about the movie, but most likely will never see it. |

Snow White and the Huntsman. Was long at over two hours, but an overall good movie. _________________ Mercury TiBook 400MHz, 1GB RAM, 120GB HD, Airport

Saw the Avengers for a second time Saturday night, talk about a fun crowd. Even better the second time I'd say. Theater was busy but not packed, but as we looked around most everyone was in their mid-30s to 50's. Fun to be part of a crowd that claps, cheers and gets into it. When the Hulk takes a shot at Thor the crowd really got into it. I'd venture to say most of the guys were like me and had grown up reading Iron Man & Captain America. As people started to leave and we started telling them to wait all through the credits, lots of thanks from those that stopped.
Sunday took a group of teen boys to see Prometheus. Good movie, don't go in expecting to see Alien. It does tease you some. It's not nearly as gory as Alien or Aliens though, bit more SciFi.
