| After reinstalling OS 10.6.8, How can I rename the startup disk? It is now showing Untitled. |

edited out _________________ 2011 Mac mini 2.7 GHz i7 with
16GB RAM, Samsung 512GB SSD
MacBook AIR 11 Inch
Mac mini, Model 1.1, 2.33 GHz C2D Proc
20" iMac G4 PPC

Single click the drive icon and press return. This will highlight the text box. Type your new name and press return again
Never start a drive name with a dot. Use a letter. |

you just click on untitled and you can put whatever name you want... _________________ Mac Mini i5 2.5 GHZ, 16GB Ram.

and it works fine in Lion.
