Saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes the other night with my son. He's pretty picky for his age about movies and we both thought it was decent. Bit thin in some areas, but that's Hollywood in about 2 hours for you. I would totally agree that the ending was 100% designed for a sequel, which isn't a bad thing if they stay with a good story. _________________ iMac 24" 2.4 GHz 4GB | Logitech S530 | Z-2300 speakers | NewerTech Guardian MAXimus RAID

| Warrior! It's the best movie I've seen in two years. Nick Nolte and Joel Edgerton are just awesome. Oscar worthy performances if you ask me. |

A Better Life. What a movie. The ending was so moving. I actually cried for a good ten minutes. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

The Lorax. Took the 6-year-old. The timing was perfect because she just learned about Dr. Seuss in school a week before when they read Green Eggs and Ham. Anyway, we all liked it. I've never heard of it before the movie made it popular, but I like the message it tries to teach about what happens if we use and waste too much of the earth's resources. _________________ Mercury TiBook 400MHz, 1GB RAM, 120GB HD, Airport

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Muppets. The latter was really entertaining! It brought me back to being a kid and watching the Muppets on TV with my parents every Saturday night. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

MI: Ghost Protocol - good for action, typical MI movie.
Cars 2 - decent, first was better, but better then most Disney #2 shows by far
Wild Target - pretty funny, not what I expected, actually enjoyed it _________________ iMac 24" 2.4 GHz 4GB | Logitech S530 | Z-2300 speakers | NewerTech Guardian MAXimus RAID

Midnight showing of Avengers.
To note - There are two credits scenes. One after the main cast credits, and one at the end of the credits.

Saw the Avengers Saturday, even with the crappy seats I will say it was a freakin' awesome movie. My kid laughed at me at one point since I was so into it and excited. I told him as kid growing up reading Iron Man, Captain America, etc. to see them on the big screen I was like a fat kid in a candy store. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and although I loathe going to opening weekend I was wanting my few bucks to send a message to stop making crap movies. Now I need to go again so I can see it with better seats, but I'll wait a couple weekends until the crowds die down. _________________ iMac 24" 2.4 GHz 4GB | Logitech S530 | Z-2300 speakers | NewerTech Guardian MAXimus RAID
