I am new to this forum. So I would ask you more experienced users if Apple is releasing a new Mac Mini - say in time for Christmas - what would be the cheapest low end configuration and highest performance end configuration that Apple might offer?

Who knows. If such a beastie were to happen, I would venture to guess that it might use CPUs that Intel has not yet released, and therefore no price can be predicted.

A good guess is the same chips that will be in the June 2012 Macbook Pros. If history tells us anything, the prices should match what you see now.

Take the current configuration prices and add maybe $50 to the low end and $100 to the high end and you'll have my best guess. But that's all it is, a guess.
