I upgraded my mini OS to Lion so that I can work with iBooks Author.
I am experiencing a strange problem, though. When I plug my iPad into a usb port I no longer get that "bleep" sound typical of the system recognizing the usb device. Is this normal for Lion? Or do I have a problem? I have noticed that sometimes iTunes doesn't recognize my iPad is plugged in. |

I don't have an iPad but I do have an iPod.
When I plug it in I've never gotten a beep.
Lion, Snow Leopard, Leopard, Tiger.
Doesn't matter. Never a beep.
Not sure if this applies to an iPad.
