2011 Mac mini, external optical drive options

Apologies if this has been covered, I lack search skills and patience, it would seem.

What are you guys using for the optical / dvd / cd drive ?

Looking for slot loading, pretty, and sized to sit on the new mini.

Apple's Super drive seems expensive, but looks lovely, and really that's what I'm going for. I'm unsure how it sits on top, I suppose it's ok if it's not perfect.

I came across this OWC DVD drive (slot loading and all), a bit more reasonable, but I'm a bit concerned that B&H are the only one who sell it (OWC doesn't seem to have it on their own website).

I have used this Samsung slim drive that's out, the price is right, but the tray load design is very awkward. The tray is heavier than the rest of the drive, when it open, it tilts forward.

I have an old bulky LaCie (designed by Porcshe) which was next to it.
While i was reading your post you just gave me the idea to put it on the top.
This is perfect, I do not why I did not think about it thank you very very much.

i can give you a great one if you are interested.

Memorex has a new cheap external blu-ray drive for 149.99 and a faster model at only 250.00 you can get them at your local staples and they work great with macintosh.

they will also burn dvd and cd-r as well.

many dvd drives will do here are some good ones.
